Ron Fung is the Chief Investment Officer of Valeo & Co., with over 25 years of experience spanning strategy consulting and alternative investments. A seasoned strategic investor in the dental and healthcare sectors, he oversees a portfolio of clinics generating roughly $110 million in annual production revenue. He holds majority ownership positions across the portfolio. With 90+ completed deals representing $120 million+ in transaction value, Ron also serves as a strategic advisor and board director to clinics and healthcare centres across the Greater Toronto Area, Northern Ontario, Southeastern Ontario, and Alberta.

Prior to founding Valeo & Co., Ron held executive roles with Tower Records, MF Global, Accenture Consulting, Parthenon-EY, and Capgemini. He built a strong track record in corporate transformation and M&A, leading major strategic and financial initiatives for Fortune 500 companies across Latin America, Europe, and North America.

Ron holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BA in Economics and Statistics from Western University.

Alex leads the alternative & blockchain division at Valeo & Co., from Montreal. Holding the distinction of a Chartered Financial Analyst coupled with expertise in derivative trading, he boasts over two decades in the fields of algorithmic trading, designing high-frequency systems, and mastering crypto asset management.

In leadership roles, Alex served large trading institutions such as TMX and Title Trading and has overseen trading operations at several niche trading establishments.
He is a CFA charter holder and earned his BComm in Finance and Financial Management from Concordia University.
He is fluent in English, Greek, French and German.

Huan leads our Pharmacy investment strategic partner: Modern Meds, based out of Toronto. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector along with 15 years of investment banking experice in the financial services industry where he consulted and lead projects with high visibility across internal corporate groups and with external regulators.
Huan’s strength is his ability to affect change through direct participation in his consulting recommendations. He has worked on assignments in Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Peru, Hong Kong, UK, Canada, and the USA.
He holds a MBA from Schulich School of Business, a CFA charter holder and was also previously qualified as a CPA and CISA
